A Safe Place To Listen To Life's Rain
My Journey:
For many years, I worked as a Pharmacy Technician. Behind that counter, I learned a vital truth: medicine is only one part of the healing process. I became the person patients specifically asked for—not just for their prescriptions, but for the reassurance of knowing I would always see them, hear them, and be there for them on their hardest days. I realized then that my greatest gift wasn't just technical accuracy; it was an unwavering, non-judgemental presence for people at their most vulnerable.
Lived Experience, Not Just Theory:
I don’t just understand mental health challenges from a textbook. I have lived them. For decades, I have navigated the complexities of depression, anxiety, and BPD. I have walked through the doors of many psychological specialists, and I have survived the weight of abuse and the isolation that follows it. Because I have stood in those storms, I can offer you something a clinical setting often can't: the perspective of a peer. I know the courage it takes to show up when your mind feels like an enemy.
The Road to Motherhood:
Becoming a mother was something I knew I wanted from a young age, but the path to getting here tested every piece of me. I navigated the quiet anxiety of fertility hurdles, a high-risk pregnancy managed through severe physical pain, and a difficult delivery that ultimately led into a battle with postpartum depression. Walking through that dark valley—and finding my way out with the help of medication—showed me just how fragile and isolating parenthood can feel. Motherhood itself is a role that has always come naturally to me, but I know firsthand that the entry to it can be messy, painful, and overwhelming. If you are struggling within your own journey as a parent, you have a safe space here to lay that weight down.
A Bridge, Not a Replacement:
I have a deep respect for psychology and clinical therapy. In fact, I started off pursuing psychology in university. Though my path eventually led me to pharmacy, my passion for mental wellness never wavered. I view therapists as essential allies. Copper Rain exists to fill the gaps that the clinical system often leaves behind:
An Empathetic, Non-Judgement Zone:
My life has taught me that human experiences are vast and often messy. Whether you are navigating recovery, relationship complexities, substance use, or exploring kinks and fetishes—nothing is "too heavy" here. I am not here to diagnose you or "fix" you. I am here to be a compassionate witness to your reality, to listen when you feel unheard, to see you when you feel unseen and to ensure you never have to weather the rain alone.
